PressProfiler speeds up make-ready for Print Plus
We've just installed another PressProfiler ink key presetting system (CIP3) for Print Plus Ltd in Bradford, significantly reducing their make-ready time and paper usage on their 5 colour SpeedMaster 74 press.
StudioRIP Workflow Install at Guildhall Press
Here at Prepress UK we've just completed installation of another full feature StudioRIP Workflow Edition, this time for Guildhall Press (Northampton) Ltd.
Guildhall needed to update their ageing workflow as their existing system was struggling with modern PDF files, particularly transparency, and didn't provide any imposition or integrated proofing.
CardWriter v3.5 Released
PressProfiler CardWriter v3.5 has now been released. CardWriter is PressProfiler's interface to Heidelberg presses with PCMCIA memory card slots for sending CIP3 ink key presetting data from any prepress workflow to Heidelberg CPC 1.04 and similar press consoles.

Dynastrip, StudioRIP and PressProfiler
Here at PrepressUK.com we've just ended another busy week this time installing a new StudioRIP Workflow at a commercial printer in Brighton. To meet the customer's needs we paired StudioRIP with the powerful Dynastrip imposition package from Dynagram, replacing a system centred around an old version Harlequin RIP. The system is also integrated with our powerful money saving CIP3 ink key presetting solution, PressProfiler.
StudioRIP Workflow Installation
Prepress UK has this week installed yet another Studio RIP workflow, this time to replace an ageing Kodak Prinergy system.

The system took one week to install and comprises an Enfocus Pitstop server, Dynagram Inp02 Pro imposition software, Highwater Cascade Harlequin RIP with Trap Pro trapping software, Nustreams Nuflow web-based collaboration software and Press Profiler ink duct automation.
Quorum Production manager Andrew Page said the company chose Prepress-UK because of the flexibility it offered.
